Now, we can have a brief introduction to the different types of skin that are shown above.

Normal Skin

Normal skin is not too dry and not too oily, normal skin has may have some imperfections but no severe sensitivity. They barely have visible pores and usually have a radiant complexion. People with normal skin are less prone to breakouts on their faces and tend to have a moisturized t-zone. We should Gently do exfoliation daily to keep the t-zone and cheek area balanced. Moisturizers that have a gel-like texture are absorbed quickly and are less likely to cause breakouts. Start with a small amount of moisturizer and increase the amount if you need more, in this way you can avoid over-moisturizing and stressing the skin. Make sure to use products that make your skin neither too greasy nor too dry. Though normal skin types require less maintenance as compared to other skin types, still it’s important to remain consistent with a regular skincare regimen which makes your skin look fresh and gorgeous!

Dry Skin

Dry skin can feel tight and dry throughout the day and you may also experience some noticeable flaking most of the time. They also experience red patches, Dull, rough complexion, itchy and skin may feel irritated and inflamed. Dry skin is mainly due to genetics, environmental factors such as lifestyle & diet, hormonal changes, and climate. It affects the amount of sebum produced in the skin’s oil glands. Sebum is responsible for keeping our skin soft and supple. Dehydration is also one of the leading causes of dry skin, so you should drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol and caffeine as this can make a significant difference in how your skin feels and looks. People with dry skin should make sure that their moisturizer must contain more oil, and should be thick in texture and more moisturizing. The oil found in a moisturizer absorbs better throughout the epidermis’ barriers and helps to hydrate the tissue. Before adding a daily moisturizer to your routine, you can always have a small patch test.

Oily Skin

When the active oil glands produce a higher amount of sebum than required, the oil flows from inside the epidermis to the surface of the skin through pores and hair follicles which makes the pores clogged and congested the good thing about oily skin is it has natural moisture which makes it look younger and supple and is less prone to wrinkles. However daily exploitation is required to prevent sebum buildup in pores. Excess sebum production can also cause acne and you may also struggle with lots of whiteheads and blackheads.

People with oily skin should wash their face at least twice a day. Don't scrub and use a gentle cleanser. Find a moisturizer that is lightweight and oil-free to keep your skin hydrated and supple. In case you suffer from pimples please do not prick them.

Sensitive Skin

People with sensitive skin types are most like to get redness and irritation. Sensitive skin types can be caused by skin conditions like rosacea and lots of allergies, so one should avoid harsh chemical-based skincare treatments. This skin type is also easily inflamed, as compared to others so it’s important to choose the right natural skincare for sensitive skin to avoid any adverse reactions. Try to examine things that trigger your skin so that you can avoid them.

Combinational Skin

Combination skin is a mix of two or more different skin types. Combination skin types usually experience both dry and flaky skin on certain portions of the face, and excessive oil on others. Many people believe they have oily skin or dry skin when they, in fact, have a combination skin type. Unless an individual’s skin is oily or dry all over, they should qualify under combination skin.
